This LoveDefined course is a profound yet practical journey to actually find the very things we deeply long for. It leads you to supernatural moments and experiences but through very practical means. LoveWorks values true spiritual health, not spiritual hype, and we lead you to it.
LoveDefined introduces you to God. We introduce you to his identity...His nature. “God is Love.” 1John 4:8
Here is where we begin. Discovering the reality that God is love and how it radically transforms us when we engage it in all aspects of our lives.
To do this effectively, and in a way that is measurable, love must be defined. We must know what Love is in order to evaluate whether or not we have received Love or have authentically given Love away. It cannot be vague or dependent upon feelings. It must be clear.
LoveDefined brings that clarity through definition and practical opportunities so you experience God’s Love in your daily life. Receiving His love into your need, your weakness, and your failure is transformational! It is powerful and it connects you to your Father’s heart for you. This connection begins the process of guiding and maturing you in your own identity. You can only truly know yourself from within His Love.
The LoveDefined course guides you on a journey to become excellent at two things: 1. Receiving God’s Love. 2. Giving God’s Love. This follows the example Christ gave us when he said, “As the Father loves me, so I have loved you.” John 15:9 And again we see this rhythm of receive/give when He says, “As I have loved you, so you must love one another.” John 13:34
We have created and designed a journey that provides training for both - receiving and giving. This is the discipleship process that eclipses all other spiritual training based Paul’s declaration in 1Corinthians 13. He says that spiritual gifts and knowledge and faith and acts of service are nothing without love. “I am nothing” without love.
This is the whole purpose Christ came - to love us so that our lives would be transformed for the purpose of loving others, so their lives could be transformed. This is the authentic way the Kingdom grows, not through man’s schemes or strategies, but through God’s redemptive, transformational love.
We are so excited that you are beginning this discipleship course. You have already been covered in prayer by the Apostle Paul when he prayed:
“I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.”
Ephesians 3:17-19
Soak in that reality. You were prayed for by the Apostle Paul. Now move forward into deep regions of the Father’s Love for you.
